GOAT Engines Return & Cancellation Policy

Because many of our products are built to order (and often use special-order parts), our return and cancellation terms are different than “off-the-shelf” items. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1) Returns — General (Non-Custom Items)
We have a 30-day return policy for eligible non-custom items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

In the same condition you received it
-
Unused and uninstalled
-
In its original packaging
-
Returned with receipt/proof of purchase
To start a return, contact us at goatengines@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll provide return instructions and (when applicable) a return shipping label.
Returns must be sent to:

Items sent back without requesting a return authorization first will not be accepted.
2) Custom Engines & Built-To-Order Products — Final Sale After Shipment
All custom engines / built-to-order engines are NON-RETURNABLE once the product ships.
This includes (but isn’t limited to) engines built, assembled, configured, or ordered specifically for your application, as well as items that require special-order components.

3) Cancellations & Order Changes
Because custom engine orders move quickly into parts allocation, machining, assembly, and scheduling:

Cancellations requested within 24 hours of purchase:
We’ll do our best to cancel with no fee, provided the order has not already moved into irreversible processing or special-order parts have not been ordered. -
Cancellations requested after 24 hours:
A cancellation fee of up to 25% may apply due to the custom nature of the engine and special-order parts.
The exact fee depends on the stage of processing and any costs already incurred (parts, machining, labor, vendor charges, etc.). -
If the engine has already shipped:
The order cannot be cancelled and no return is allowed for custom engines after shipment.

4) Damages, Shipping Issues, Wrong Item
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at goatengines@gmail.com right away so we can evaluate the issue and help make it right. To speed things up, include:

Order number

Photos of the item and packaging (including any visible damage)

A brief description of the issue
Important note for freight shipments (common with engines):
Damage claims may require prompt documentation. If there is visible damage at delivery, note it with the carrier upon receipt and take photos immediately.
5) Non-Returnable Items / Exceptions
The following items are not eligible for return:

Custom engines / built-to-order engines once shipped

Items that have been installed, run, modified, or disassembled

Items returned without original packaging or missing components

Sale items (unless required by law)

Gift cards

6) Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to request a return (if eligible) and place a new order. For custom engines, exchanges are not available after shipment.
7) Refunds (Eligible Returns Only)
Once we receive and inspect your eligible return, we’ll notify you whether the refund is approved.
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Banks/credit card companies may take additional time to post the refund.

8) European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (If Applicable)
If merchandise is shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return certain purchases within 14 days.
However, custom or made-to-order products are generally exempt from the EU cooling-off period. If you believe your order qualifies, email goatengines@gmail.com and we’ll review it.
9) Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of purchase applies to your order.
